Xolo an India company finally launched the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update for their users . The kitkat update will be available by ota and Can be installed manually . This is a First Mediatek Chipset phone to get android 4.4.2 kitkaty update . Users can download file from here -here
This is a 293.97 mb update . Which can be directly downloaded from here . The build date is 5.5.2014 , it was online on 5 of may 2014 .

How to Update Xolo q1000 Opus to android 4.4.2 kitkat -
- Download the zip from above link
- Don't Unzip the file
- Transfer the file from your PC to Xolo q1000 Opus in root of Phone memory
- Now open Xolo Care app
- In updates tab , click check for software updates
- Check for updates
- Now Click continue and Your xolo q1000 will be updated to kitkat :)
