e-Golf Rule Edition
1.897 EV's were sold in Norway, making it the second best selling month in history, only behind the historical landmark (3.128 units sold) set last March, with the EV Share rising as a result by 0,10% to 14,51%.
The VW e-Golf continues to shine, collecting its second monthly #1, with 467 sales, shooting for the monthly EV leadership and if their sales were to be split from the ICE Golf, it would end up in #2 in the General Ranking.
The VW e-Up! continues to sell like hot cakes, ending in #3 on the electric chart, behind the Nissan Leaf, #3 in the General Ranking, which finally had a decent month (400 units), coming close to the YTD electric leadership, with only 53 separating it from the under performing Tesla Model S (Only 183 sales).

In a monthly ranking with a decidedly german accent, there's a good show by the BMW i3, with 202 units, losing the B-Class leadership for the Toyota Yaris for just two units, also there was a surprising performance by the Peugeot Ion, selling 50 units, its best performance since October 2012, beating the Renault Zoe (34 sales in August) both in the YTD and in the monthly ranking...
The BMW i8 registered 5 cars, which is a positive sign on the acceptance of this six-figure sports car.
A newcomer has landed in this crowded EV Market (24 models!), the Kia Soul EV registered its first nine units, it will be interesting to see how Kia works on electric cars, considering they are late party crashers.
Looking at the manufacturers ranking, Volkswagen is closer to the leadership, with 22% share, behind Nissan and Tesla, both with 25%. Will we see the german automaker leading in September?
