Online iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Tracker

iPhone 6 Stock Tracker
If you trekked out this past few weeks in search of a specific iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus model that you just couldn’t find despite searching far and wide, you’re not alone. And with the demand for Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus reaching staggering levels, it is not surprising that several online apps keeps popping up to meet consumer's expectations and mitigate anxiety among iPhone users.

One brilliant site is the iStockNow, which keeps track of Apple Store inventory for all iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models in real time.

What makes this website terrific is its simple layout — it’s a map of the U.S. with tags of every single Apple Store. A green tag means that the store has devices in stock while a red tag means it’s completely out of everything.

Clicking on the green tag will then drill down information for you further by breaking down which iPhones are available by the carrier they’re on, their storage size and their color. At the Apple flagship store in Boston, for example, there are tons of different models available in multiple colors and storage sizes for AT&T subscribers but Verizon subscribers are stuck with 64GB and 128GB silver models of the iPhone 6 Plus. The flagship Apple Store in San Francisco, meanwhile, is loaded with different iPhone models for Verizon and Sprint customers but is almost completely out of models that run on AT&T’s network.

Another site was appropriately dubbed "iPhone 6 Tracker" because it allows users to input a specific iPhone model on a specific carrier in order to receive a notification when that model becomes available.

For example, a user can input a 128GB gold iPhone 6 Plus and specify AT&T as the carrier, and iPhone 6 Tracker will then notify the user if email or SMS (email addresses are recommended, just to be safe) as soon as that model comes back in stock in one of three Apple Stores closest to his or her zip code.

Once a notification is received, a quick trip to Apple’s website will allow the user to buy the phone using Personal Pickup and then head to a local Apple Store without worrying about waiting on line.

According to the makers of iPhone 6 Tracker website, the site accomplishes all this by constantly scraping Apple’s online store in search of inventory available for Personal Pickup. Once a model listing switches from unavailable to available at one of the three stores closest to a user, the site sends out a notification.

iPhone 6 Tracker is completely free, but the site’s creator asks users to consider donating some bitcoin if it ends up helping them purchase a new iPhone.
