Dorsett Grand Subang is currently having a promotion on their Warna Warni Malaysia buffet. I had the chance to dine there a couple of nights back, and it was pretty good, reminiscent of the Ramadhan period with similar Malaysian cuisine served.

Happy 5th Anniversary Dorsett Grand Subang! |

They have my favourite Satays as well |
The promotion has started a month ago, Warna Warni Malaysia Buffet features the best of Malaysian delights available from across 13 different states and three Federal Territories in the country. A variety of dishes were served with the bulk being made up of Malaysian cuisine, ulams and salads.

Hirisan Daging Panggang |
Kambing Tumis Lada Hitam |
Daging Rendang |
Dorsett Grand Subang makes some really nice meat dishes, especially the three dishes shown above. Their Hirisan Daging Panggang, Daging Rendang, and Kambing Tumis Lada Hitam were delicious with the kambing taking top spots in my books. It was very tender and soft without being mushy nor having that heavy lamb after taste. Good stuff here, especially for meat lovers like myself.
Sambal Ikan Bilis |
Sotong Kumpo |
Ayam Percik |
Showcased for our picking on the buffet line includes the Ayam Percik, Sotong Kumpo and Sambal Ikan Bilis. We were literally spoil for choice when it comes to the number of Malaysian cuisine in the buffet line. Choose and fill up your plate to the brim, and come again for the second round of dishes.

Ikan Siakap Panggang |
Prawns |
Mussels for the seafood lover in you |
During this promotion, the restaurant’s Sous Chef Shabani Md Akhir and his culinary team will whip up scrumptious servings such as Nasi Briyani Gam made popular in Johor, Daging Rendang Tok Din which is a favourite in Negeri Sembilan, Ikan Siakap Panggang dengan Sos Kicap Cili Api which originates from the Perak state, Ice Kacang from Penang State, Chicken and Beef Satay etc for diners with distinctive cravings for tasty local food.
Chicken Salad |
Thai Fish Cake |
Kerabu Kacang Botol |
If you're a salad or kerabu fan, then you won't mind the wide spread of local delicacies. They had kerabus ranging from seafood to poultry and vegetables, lots of it. Now I'm not a very big fan of these, but did manage to try some, and they do have that distinctive spicy, sweet and sour flavour, good to whet your appetite for the meatier dishes in the Warna Warni Malaysia buffet spread.

More seafood kerabu |
Priced from RM92++ per person, these delectables can be enjoyed over dinner every Wednesday at Terazza Brasserie from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm. Do check them our, the Warna Warni Malaysia Buffet @ Dorsett Grand Subang should you be in the vicinity.
