France October 2014 (Updated)

Inside the Bolloré Blue Car. Kind of reminds of Lancia, doesn't it?

Back to Normal Edition

After shattering records in September, the French EV market returned to normality, selling 1.551 units, a 50% decrease regarding the month before, but it was still the third best month of the year, good news then, which despite a small EV Share decrease to 0,84%, the number is still above last year result of 0,83%.

Looking at the monthly models ranking, the Outlander PHEV is no longer upsetting the usual front runners, with the usual 1-2-3 distribution (Zoe-Kangoo ZE-Leaf), with Bolloré tied with the japanese hatch in #3 and BMW i3 rounding up the table.

In the YTD table, the top positions continued the same, with both VW's rising one position (e-Up! to #11 and e-Golf to #16), while Tesla sold only two Model S, performing the worst result of the year for the american brand.

Finally, a mention to the 32 Kia Soul EV registered, which might mean that in 2015 Kia could be an important player here.
