These two are fighting for the last place of the Danish Podium

(Again) Record Edition

After a record 151 sales registered last October, the Danish EV market set yet another sales record in November, with 200 units sold, jumping the EV Share to 0,75%, the YTD numbers now stand at 1.308 units, which is only 273 units away from the whole number of EV's registered in December 31st 2013!

Looking at the models ranking, it was another win for the Leaf (64 units), the fifth in a row, but this month it had competition for the Best Seller title, as the VW e-Up! made a new personal best (59 sales), while the Model S from Tesla had a return to form, selling 36 units.

In the YTD ranking, the race for #3 had yet another development, with the VW e-Up! jumping back to #3, while pushing the i3 back to Fourth. Will the Bimmer respond in December?

Looking elsewhere, the other Nissan electric car, the workhorse e-NV200, is having a warm welcome in Denmark, leading the LCV segment and jumping two places to #6.

Who isn't making an impression here is the Mitsu Outlander PHEV, only #8 with 11 units, although truth be told, it is enough to lead the PHEV table, this is just a case where Plug-in Hybrids (2% Share) just can't seem to get a foothold. Editor's Note - Does anyone know why this happens?
