From Lapland to Andalucia Edition

The PIVE Government subsidies plan is giving some welcome life to the Spanish EV Market, with 214 units sold last month, ev's were sold in Spain last month, pulling the EV Share to 0,176%, exactly the same number held last year, so December should pull this market to positive numbers.

The Nissan Leaf continued leading the market, with 64 registrations and 394 YTS, the best yearly performance in Spain by any model not named Renault Twizy. 

But the real news was the Second place of the Mitsu Outlander PHEV (Now #3 YTD), with 50 units, its personal best and easily the best performance ever by a Plug-In Hybrid in this market, to put things in context, thanks to the japanese SUV, the PHEV share tripled from 6% to 18% in just 11 months, the success of the Outlander PHEV should make carmakers wonder on it, it's leading sales in several northern-euro markets, like Finland or Sweden, but it is also making important inroads in the BEV-friendly markets of southern-euro markets, like this, or Italy, or Portugal.
