Dan Pink is one of my favourite authors in the area of self-development and motivation. His popular TED talk “The puzzle of Motivation” has been watched by over 12 million people from all around the world. He is also famous for his two best selling books “ Drive ” and “ To Sell Is Human”. However, today as I was browsing through my social media feeds I came across this post shared by Business Insider which features the five books recommended by Dan Pink. The common thread across these books is the enhancement of human thinking. From these five titles the one I have read and enjoyed is “ Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die” by Dan Heath, and Chip Heath.
Here are the five titles recommended by Dan Pink:
1- Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think by Brian Wansink
2- Switch: How to Change Things When Change Is Hard by by Dan Heath, and Chip Heath.
3- Influence: Science and Practice by Robert B, Cialdini
4- Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Diec
5- Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness by Richard H, Thaler and Cass R. Sustein
