Apple Watch Companion App Icon Revealed

About three weeks ago Mark Gurman of 9to5Mac revealed information about the Companion app for the Apple Watch with a bunch of screenshots. Today Gurman is back with the current app icon for the companion app.

While this could be a placeholder for the final Apple Watch companion app icon, - it may not. This icon is likely taken from the current iOS 8.2 developer build.

Gurman has also posted an image of the Settings screen on Twitter, which reveals that their will be settings on the Apple Watch for: Time, Airplane Mode, Bluetooth, Do Not Disturb, General, Display & Brightness, Sounds, and Passcode. Very similar to what's on the iPhone.

iOS 8.2 will contain the Apple Watch Companion app that'll let iPhone users connect and control the settings of their Apple Watch. It's likely iOS 8.2 will be released around the same time as the Apple Watch.

The Apple Watch range will start selling from $349USD and will start shipping to customers, thanks to recent new information from Tim Cook -- sometime in April.
