New Handy Chrome Extension for Sending Dropbox Files in Gmail

February, 2015
Dropbox has just launched a new Chrome extension to help Gmail users easily share and access their Dropbox files without having to leave their Gmail window. When you install Dropbox for Gmail, a Dropbox icon will be added to your email. Clicking on that icon will give you instant access to the documents and files you have on your Dropbox. You can select whatever you want to share and their links will automatically appear in your email.

Dropbox for Gmail also lets you “quickly access any important files with the Recent Files tab or use Dropbox’s supercharged Search tool to find the file you need to send. And, see rich previews of Dropbox links shared in emails. Like attachments, you can use these links to download the file directly from Gmail or add it to your Dropbox.”
