Is this the reason for the slow sales? |
Cold Spring Edition
While in other latitudes Spring has brought record numbers to EV Markets, Canada's still defrosting, with 335 sales in last month, the Canadian EV market posted the best month of the year, but was down 17% regarding the same month last year, making it the second consecutive month with slower sales than last year. Is this a sign that consumers are already waiting for the Second Gen Volt?
Looking at the ranking, Tesla is still on top, with the Leaf sneakingly getting closer to the #2 Volt, having recovered 6 units YTD in March, leaving them with a 29 units difference between them.
Looking at the rest of the models, the surprise comes from the bottom half, with the Cadillac ELR selling 9 units (Second best result ever for the Caddie) and climbing to #9, although it's still far from the current Sports-Car Star, the #5 BMW
