3 New Apple Products Expected at WWDC

iMac with Retina
The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is just a few weeks away, but the tech giant is already beginning to roll out its newest products. Apple just unveiled three new products: a 15-inch MacBook Pro with Force Touch trackpad, an iMac with Retina 5K display, and a new lightning dock for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

All these products are available through the Apple Store or any authorized reseller. There's no doubt this is only the start of new products and updates the company will release in anticipation of its WWDC event, starting on 8 June 2015. Even some of those big announcements have already leaked.

With high demand for Apple products after the successful launch of Apple Watch, expectations are high that the following items will generate the same kind of interest:

15-inch MacBook Pro with Force Touch — The newest update to this model includes the Force Touch trackpad, a hardware design that allows a user to touch anywhere on the trackpad and set specific settings for certain click gestures. It also boasts a longer battery life of nine hours, compared to the 2014 model, which only ran at eight hours, and has 2.5 times as fast flash storage. While this model will cost US$ 2,000, the 15-inch MacBook Pro with a faster processor and a larger flash storage will run at US$2,500.

iMac with Retina 5K — The newest entry-level iMac is now priced at US$ 2,000. It includes four USB 3.0 ports, two thunderbolt ports, and an even clearer picture resolution at 14.7 million pixels. If you were looking for the more advanced iMac with Fusion Drive and a faster processor, that price has also been lowered to US$ 2,300.

iPhone Lightning Dock — Apple has finally released its lightning dock for the latest iPhone models, the 6 and 6 Plus. Priced at $40, it can charge your iPhone and connect to speakers or headphones.
