Google Chrome Tip: How To Hide App Button From Toolbar

When you install apps on Google Chrome web browser, the extensions usually also install an app icon to your toolbar. These buttons are often useful for shortcuts to the app's features and tools. However, if you don't really need to access any 'shortcuts' of the app extension, you can hide the apps icon.

To hide an app icon button from Google Chrome's toolbar; simply right click (Control+Click on a Mac) the app's icon, then select the option, 'Hide Button'

To re-show an apps icon after hiding it, click the Chrome menu button (The three horizontal lines). Hover over 'More tools', then click 'Extensions'. Then find the app and click, 'Show Button'.
