Model S Smashes The Competition Edition
Only BEV data is available, but nevertheless, the numbers remain comparable with last year (190 units last month vs 189 in 2014, with BEV and PHEV combined), so this is another market in good health, with BEV Share at 0,52%.
Looking at the models ranking, the Tesla Model S dwarfed the competition, selling 83 units, a personal record and the best performance for a single model in two years!
Back in June 2013, the Renault Zoe did 88 units, which still stands as the monthly sales record for a single model.
Speaking of the Renault Zoe, it was the only model to present a decent performance (28 units), which allowed it to go #2, leaving the Nissan Leaf in Third.
Good performance for the #8 Mercedes B-Class ED, switching positions with the Smart Fortwo ED relative, while the Nissan e-NV200 / Evalia continues with a modest performance, only #11 with 19 units YTD, a relative surprise giving the popularity achieved in other markets and the local taste for vans and MPV's.
Looking at the manufacturers ranking, Tesla (25% Share) won a significant margin (5% more share over last month) over the #2 Renault (19%), #3 Nissan (17%) and #4 VW (16%).
