Micromax Unite 2 , the most popular low priced Micromax Phone has got Official Android 5.0.2 Lollipop by Micromax . But Micromax has no plans to update it to Android 5.1.1 .

Since Micromax Unite 2 A106 is most popular low priced device , so it has full developer support and finally a developer ( Vijay Jeswal ) has ported Cyanogenmod 12.1 i.e based on Android 5.1.1 with advance features .



The Custom Rom is almost bugfree . Cyanogenmod 12.1 comes with many new features and has less bugs than Official Android 5.0.2 lollipop .

Note - You must be on Kitkat 4.4.4 in order to Install Cm12.1 on Micromax Unite 2 .

Step 1. Download Cyanogenmod 12.1 ACIP Android 5.1.1 Custom Rom and Carliv 3.0 recovery below . Install the recovery using Flashify or Rashr ( Download App from Google Play ).

Step 2. Place The Rom in your sdcard .

Step 3. Go to recovery mode and Clear data and Clear cache .

Step 4. Select Install Zip from sdcard and select the zip you downloaded following Step 1. 

Step 5. Re-Boot your Micromax Unite 2 .
