How to Install Android 5.0.2 Lollipop on Samsung Galaxy Light

Samsung Galaxy Light was released in October 2013 and it runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean out of the box . Although Samsung Galaxy Light was not further update to above Android versions officially .



Now you can update your Samsung Galaxy Light with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop by Installing Cyanogenmod 12 ( cm12 ) on Samsung Galaxy Light .

Thanks to AcreaperJB ( xda developer ) for porting Cyanogenmod 12 Android 5.0.2 for Samsung Galaxy Light SGH-T399 . It has approx no bugs , as the rom is ported from Samsung Galaxy S3 .



Few bugs include - Prox/light sensor , stock camera fc and more minor bugs .

How to Install Android 5.0.2 Lollipop on Samsung Galaxy Light -

Step 1. Download the Android 5.0.2 CM12 rom from below .





Step 2. Flash TWRP recovery by any Flashing app ( Rashr , Flashify etc . ) 

Step 3. Boot to TWRP recovery mode .

Step 4. Wipe data , cache , and dalvik cache .

Step 5. Select Install Zip from Sdcard and Select the Rom you downloaded following Step 1.
