1. Display -


Moto G 3rd Generation will feature 5 inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and 441 ppi pixel density while on the other hand Moto G 2nd Generation features a 5.0 inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels resoltuion and 294 ppi pixel density .

So Moto G 3rd Generation will be having a full Super HD display ! 


2. Platform -


Moto G 3rd Generation will come with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box , while Moto G 2nd Generation recently got Android 5.0.2 lollipop update . Both the Smartphones will be upgradable Android M ( when launched ) . 


Moto G 3rd Generation will come with 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 Quad-Core CPU and Adreno 405 GPU while Moto G 2nd Generation comes with Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and Adreno 305 GPU .

3. Memory -


Moto G 3rd Generation will come with 8/16 GB ROM and 1GB RAM ( not confirmed ) , while Moto G 2nd Generation comes with 8/16 GB ROM and 1GB RAM . Both the device features expandable MicroSD card slot .

If Moto G 3rd Generation comes with 2GB RAM , then it will be a winner over Moto G 2nd Generation .


4. Camera -


Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation will feature 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera with 1080p video recording capability while The 2nd Generation Moto G features 8 MP rear and 2 MP front camera with 720p video recording capability .


So , there is no doubt that Moto G 3rd Generation is a winner over Moto G 2nd Generation .
