Pokémon is set to release a match-3 style puzzle game, like Candy Crush Saga, Candy Mania, Bejeweled, Angry Birds Fight!, and so on... for iOS and Android devices, sometime later this year (2015).
In Pokémon Shuffle Mobile, players will clear areas and battle wild Pokémon by matching up Pokémon of the same to create attacks, which you use to battle and defeat the Pokémon, before you run out of moves. You can then try and catch it!
Game features as stated in the trailer (video above):
"Match 3 or more Pokémon to launch an attack."There does seem to be a mixed range of Pokémon between new and old, judging from the trailer. It will feature the old favorites like; Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and of course Pikachu. Also, Pokémon will gain experience and can evolve.

Pokémon Shuffle Mobile will be FREE to download, most likely with in-app purchases - available on the iTunes App Store and Google Play Store - sometime this year.
