The current Norway (Europe?) star players |
Volkswagen Audi Group Edition
Some 2.600 units were sold last month, up 70% YoY (At this rate, in less than 10 years Norway will have a 100% EV auto market), with the EV Share steady at 22.85%, with several EV players showing their strenghts:
- The VW e-Golf and GTE represent two thirds of all Golf sales, with the first leading the General ranking, if we separated single models cars by fuel source (BEV, PHEV and ICE);
- Tesla's Model S was down to #5 in the EV ranking and #14 in the global auto martket (First month of the quarter...), but it is still #2 YTD Second spot on both charts (EV and Global ranking);
- The Nissan Leaf had its best result since March, selling 239 units, achieving a Third place in the EV ranking (#13 in the general ranking, #4 in the C-segment/compact class);
- The Audi A3 e-Tron was #4 in the EV ranking and it has been growing since it landed, so it wouldn't be surprising if we saw a 1-2-3 monthly ranking for VAG in August.
Last month the two position jump to #5 of the Renault Zoe was in the headlines, now the french car is back to #7 after registering just 24 units in July, on the other hand, two models are on the rise: The Golf GTE jumped two positions to #6, while the Audi A3 e-Tron is back at #5.
The Volvo V60 climbed another position to #12 and the Mercedes B-Class ED continues to improve and a #7 might be possible for it in the near term.
