Yahoo Weather will now alert you when rain or snow is about to fall

You’ll never get caught in the rain or snow again no matter where you live, provided you use Yahoo’s gorgeously designed mobile Weather app which in its most recent update has added near-term weather alerts.

Yahoo Weather was recently updated to provide a few more weather alerts to its users, letting those using the app know when rain or snow is about to fall. According to Yahoo, the Weather app will now alert users up to 15 minutes before snow or rain is expected to fall in your neck-of-the-woods:
“Today we’re introducing new weather alerts around the world – you’ll never be stuck outside, unprepared again. Yahoo Weather, our beautiful and intuitive weather app, will alert you 15 minutes before rain or snow is expected, so you can grab your jacket, rain boots or umbrella!“
On their end, Yahoo! says that they’ve updated the ways they determine and rate forecasts, all in an effort to make the app even more accurate in its daily routine.

The app is localized in English, Arabic, Bokmål, Norwegian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.
