Apple sending out emails to customers whose iPhone 6s delivery might be delayed due to Pope Francis’ visit

Apple is emailing customers in select areas to inform them that their iPhone 6s pre-order may not be delivered on Friday, September 25th due to the Pope's visit.

Apple says in its email that due to traffic restrictions it might not be able to deliver your new iPhone on September 25, and in such cases, it will try to deliver the item on Saturday.

FedEX, USPS, and UPS have already put up a notice on their website regarding the delay in delivery of all their shipments in New York and Philadelphia on Friday and Saturday. They have also listed down the ZIP codes where their services will be affected:
New York City: 10001, 10007, 10017, 10021, 10022, 10023, 10029
Philadelphia: 19102, 19103, 19104, 19106, 19107, 19109, 19123, 19130, 19146, 19147
Other areas in the United States will not be affected by Pope Francis’ visit, so customers who pre-ordered the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus should expect their shipments to arrive on schedule i.e. on September 25.

Besides tracking your courier location through UPS or any other courier company, you can also use FlightAware’s flight tracking tool to track the plane in which your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus is flying down from China to US.
