Archos finally announces their Diamond Plus smartphone ahead of IFA event. However, the smartphone is more of a phablet and diamond branded, just like the Diamond S and it comes at a very affordable price, regarding its specs.
The smartphone is powered by android and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop which is powered by MediaTek's MT6753 64-bit SoC, 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU, Mali-T720MP3 GPU and coupled with a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage memory. It also comes with a 2,800 mAh battery with fast charging.

Just like I said previously, the smartphone is an affordable one, and the price is tagged at £179.99. However, the smartphone would be made available from November, and it would first hit Europe smartphone market.
The Archos Diamond Plus features a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen display, 16MP rear camera which is supported by a LED flash, 8MP front snapper, dual-SIM functionality with cellular network enabled and supports 4G LTE capability.
