Volt I Exits with a Bang Edition
Sales were down only 3% YoY in Canada, meaning that this market is resisting better the current headwinds (New models coming in, low oil prices, etc) than its southern neighbor.
The Model S continues in the lead, but this time the Best Seller of the Month belonged to the Chevy Volt, which, with 167 registrations (Best performance in 12 months), is willing to leave the race on a high note, surpassing the Nissan Leaf and recovering the YTD Silver Medal, lost to the japanese hatch in March.
Looking at the rest of the YTD ranking, the Kia Soul EV rose to #6, and if the importer manages to gather a just few more units from the Mothership Kia, the Fifth Spot might even be in the cards until year end.
