It’s that time again! We've once again modified how the list works into a format that would be easier for anyone looking for a specific date and ordered everything alphabetically form there.

September is honestly looking like one hell of a wallet crushing month. I hope that your piggybanks had backup because the sheer amount releasing doesn't stop until the end of next month!

Tuesday September 1st

Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons

Physical - Sony PlayStation 4 / Microsoft Xbox One

Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons is the next in the recent line of digital only releases seeing a physical one. Personally I love this idea as I have a preference to actual cases. Re-experience this wonderful tale by Starbreeze Studios as two brothers set out in order to find a cure for their father.

Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls

Sony PlayStation Vita

Nick is a fan of this series with his reviews of the first and second telling us why. Enter now another chapter into this series as it makes a return with a bit of a twist. Moving away from the Visual Novel style, this latest entry is instead a faster paced third-person adventure. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go play the other two before I read Nick's pre-weekend Review on this one!

Far Cry 4: Complete Edition

Sony PlayStation 4 / Microsoft Xbox One

Far Cry 4 makes its return on the release track as a Complete Edition with all of the DLC packed in and ready to go from the start. Editions like this one are great for those that either have not played the original yet or simply didn't jump on board with the DLC releases and / or season passes. I fall into the first category and maybe now would be a good time to try out a Far Cry!

Mad Max

Sony PlayStation 4 / Microsoft Xbox One

I do question the time period some days. Mad Max, Termnimator, Jarasic Park, all making comebacks of late. Mad Max itself however is a stand alone title existing simply within the realm of Mad Max and not having much to do with the newest movie which should work out great as most movie games don't tend to fair very well.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Sony PlayStation 3 / Sony PlayStation 4 / Microsoft Xbox 360 / Microsoft Xbox One

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is finally here. After years of teasing and some rather interesting PR stunts the latest chapter of the long running series is here for your box stealthing action. Wait... we can use a box in a desert?

Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence

Sony PlayStation 4 / PC

Having made a return from days long past, re-experience the tactical genious of Nobunaga's Amnbition. This man is not to be triffled with and anyone having played an entry into the Samurai Warriors Series (which is based in actual history) knows just how scary this man can be. He lies in the same terrifying category as Lü Bu (Also historical figure and supreme badass within the Dynasty Warriors Series).

Chris recently had a chance to preview Sphere of Influence and this strategic tactical experience is looking good.

Tuesday September 8th

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX

Nintendo 3DS

"Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX features forty-eight full length versions of fan-favorite songs with multiple game modes and play styles. Game modes include both "Touch Mode" and "Button Mode", each featuring multiple levels of difficulty and a wealth of customization options. Players are able to adjust difficulty via challenge and support items, change timing indicators and target icons, and swap out vocals in certain songs. Further, players can watch their favorite videos and add scrolling commentary in the Mirai Theater, create unique dance routines in the Dance Studio, and compose their own song phrases in My Tune. Tearaway: Unfolded

Sony PlayStation 4

Originally having released upon the PlayStation Vita, Mediamolecule are back with Tearaway on a whole new level upon the PlayStation 4. Utilizing the functions of the newest DualShock instead of a touchscreen, experience this world in a new way on a much larger screen.

Friday September 11th

Super Mario Maker

Nintendo WiiU

Nintendo have finally done it and opened Pandora's Box. Always wanted to create a Mario Platformer? Didn't like how one particular thing was within level 7-2? Change it! Change it all as Super Mario Maker allows for infinite customization possiblities for you and everyone else as everything can be uploaded.

Tuesday September 15th

Destiny: The Taken King

Sony PlayStation 3 / Sony PlayStation 4 / Microsoft Xbox 360 / Microsoft Xbox One

Destiny once again makes some ripples in the water with the release of its newest expansion The Taken King. Still playing Destiny and want more? Been meaning to get back in as it's been a while? Now's the time!

Disgaea: Triple Pack

Sony PlayStation 3

This is an absolute must for anyone who hasn't played the previous few chapters of the series. Containing Disgaea 3, 4, and D2 which is a direct sequel to the original Disgaea, join these various Overlords on their journeys for Peace, Love, and Justice! Alright it's really nothing relating to any of those but Flonne made me do it!

With Disgaea 5 launching for the first time outside of Japan next month this is another reason to go back and experience the previous three entries.

Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space

Sony PlayStation Vita

Earth Defense Force 2 is a re-release of Earth Defence Force 2017's predecessor that relased a decade ago upon the PlayStation 2. As with a lot of titles on this list, re-experience this fight to save the planet on the PlayStation Vita with enhancements from the original!

Forza Motorsport 6

Microsoft Xbox One

Forza has been around for a while and honestly? While I may not do racing simulators often as I much prefer to throw greenshells and receive powerups in my racing games, the Forza series is one that I can make an exception for with it's amazing details to just about everything. Well that and where else am I going to get to drive at almost 300kmph?

NHL 16 / NHL 16 Legacy Edition

Sony PlayStation 4 / Microsoft Xbox One | Sony PlayStation 3 / Microsoft Xbox 360

The time is nigh! The unfortunate reality is that the previous generation is starting to be fazed out since it just can't handle the same level of detail that the newer ones can. The newest entries into the NHL series have been divided between a full blown version and a more watered down "legacy" version for the previous generation's console owners. How much longer are they going to do this? Most likley not very. Bright side? The NHL season is not that far off now!

Senran Kagura 2 Deep Crimson

Nintendo 3DS

Back once again, these crazy girls make a return to the fast-paced beat 'em up that takes place right after the events of Senran Kagura Burst.
Follow them on their new adventure against an army of summoned demons with plenty of new features to the series!

Sunday September 20th

Skylanders SuperChargers Starter / Dark Editions

Sony PlayStation 3 / Sony PlayStation 4 / Microsoft Xbox 360 / Microsoft Xbox One / Nintendo WiiU / Nintendo 3DS

The Skylanders are back again! We've seen them get more powerful, we've seen them inter swap themselves,
we've even seen them trap the bad guys in crystals and send them back out to do our own bidding, and finally they are back once again with vehicles! Follow the original concepted series of physical playsets acting as DLC as they make their return to the gaming circuit for their fastest paced adventure yet!

Tuesday September 22nd

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer

Nintendo 3DS

Animal Crossing is one of those experiences that left me both confused at what to do and happy at how relaxing it all was. Never had I played a series where you simply just "did" stuff without having to worry about, well anything. Welcome back to the world of Animal Crossing as you now get to design homes for both you and everyone else!

Here's to another relaxing experience.

Blood Bowl 2

Sony Playstation 4 / Microsoft Xbox One / PC

Now this honestly is the first thing that ever came to mind when someone had said "Fantasy Football". Blood Bowl is back for more in this brual Turned Based Tactical Strategy rendition of American Football.

Book of Unwritten Tales 2

Sony Playstation 4 / Microsoft Xbox One

I honestly don't think I could have phrased this one better so I won't even try for this Adventure Point and Click sequel

"Legend foretold it. Prophecies predicted it. Chosen ones chose to believe in it. Now the adventure saga continues. A sequel is coming. Join Wilbur, Ivo, Nate and Critter in another classic point-and-click adventure in the wicked world of Aventásia. Help them fulfill their destiny. A destiny as yet unwritten."

FIFA Soccer 16

Sony Playstation 3 / Sony Playstation 4 / Microsoft Xbox 360 / Microsoft Xbox One / PC

Now for what a good portion of the rest of the globe considers "Football" as I'm reminded on a daily bassis, FIFA 16 is back with more
features and an even nicer graphical interface that is really starting to border on realism.

Tuesday September 29th

Fallout Anthology

PC

With all the talk of Fallout 4 going on, it seemed like a good time to go back to the basics especially for those never having played and entry before Bethesda took over the series and launched Fallout 3.Containing the originally Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel with Fallouts 3 and New Vegas, this collection is a must for anyone wanting to experience the older entries or wanting the complete editions of the newest ones. The bonus is that it comes with a mini nuke. Just don't launch it!

Grand Ages: Medieval

Sony PlayStation 4 / PC

Take control of a simple settlement and use it in order to rise to power over all of Europe! MWAHAHAHAHA yeah let's just say I probably wouldn't make it that far out of my own borders only to be stomped on by Nick, Breanna, and Robert.

Lego Dimensions

Sony Playstation 3 / Sony Playstation 4 / Microsoft Xbox 360 / Microsoft Xbox One / Nintendo Wii U

This is the second title this month that is truly designed to break piggy banks!

Lego Dimensions is the latest in the gaming series that will see and use a variety of physical characters and playsets in order to unlock and use more content. Unlike Disney's Infinity and Activision's Skylanders, Warner's Lego Dimensions is going to go far and wide with anything and everything from Batman to Dr. Who!

NBA 2k16

Sony PlayStation 3 / Sony PlayStation 4 / Microsoft Xbox 360 / Microsoft Xbox One

There are no shortage of sports games on this months list! NBA 2K16 is the first of two Basketball games being released designed by Visual Concepts and you guessed it! Published by 2K.

NBA Live 16

Sony Playstation 4 / Microsoft Xbox One

Not to be outdone by 2K, EA Sports are releasing their NBA game at the same time. As both strive for realism, which will you choose?

Persona 4: Dancing All Night

Sony PlayStation Vita

This is most likely as close as we will ever really see of a sequel to Persona 4 as Persona Q's events happened during the main story. Get back in touch with our heroes as they once again must solve a mystery of dissapearing people though different means as this is no Dungeon Crawler or RPG. Instead join Yu and his party as they must dance to a beat in order to tackle the Shadows in this Rhythem game! Do you have the moves to solve the mystery? Find out!

Samurai Warriors 4-II

Sony PlayStation 4

Samurai Warriors 4-II sees the return of the fourth entry of the series with some differences and modifications that allows it to more than stand on its own. I was quite a fan of the original for not only being a great experience but also my first time outside of the Dynasty style and after playing a Samurai it was quite hard to go back to the others! Concentrating more on the characters themselves than the clans, this new entry is looking good!

Sony Hawk's Pro Skater 5

Sony Playstation 4 / Microsoft Xbox One

I have honestly not seen one of these in a very, Very, VERY, long time. Not having seen a release since 2007, this skateboard simulator is back once again for some epic stunts on the assumption that you can pull it off. Personally I could only ever pull of grinding stunts so I remained rather grounded.
