How to Install Sailfish Os on Moto G 2nd Generation

Recently we posted that Motorola Moto G 2nd Generation Got Unofficial Sailfish OS port , and now its available for Download .

Jolla’s Sailfish OS is available for many Smartphones and is a beautiful OS . The Sailfish OS is finally ported for Motorola Moto G 2nd Generation .


Developer from XDA ( Mister_Magister )  has managed to port this beautiful OS to Moto G 2nd Generation . Hence there are still many bugs , but he is trying to fix it .

The version Ported for Moto G 2nd Generation is v1.1.6.27 ( Aaslakkajärvi ) .


How to Install Sailfish Os on Moto G 2nd Gen XT1068 -


Step 1.Install custom recovery -

Use this guide - How To Install Official TWRP ( Touch Recovery ) On Moto G 2014 [ Lollipop Compatible ] 

Step 2. Download and Install Cm11 [ You must be on Cm11 to Install Sailfish os ]

Use this guide - Cyanogenmod 11 For Motorola Moto G 2014

Step 3. Download Sailfish os from below !

Step 4.Copy the rom to your external SD

Step 5.Boot into recovery mode 


Step 6.wipe davlik cache,data 

Step 7.Select Install zip from Sdcard and select Sailfish os zip
