30% of iPhone sold were purchased by former Android users




A record for the Cupertino company.




As you may already know, Apple counts the number of iPhone users who were users of Android. And this is a moment that the firm no longer hides its strategy of attracting users to the Google OS. Moreover, there a few weeks ago, Apple launched an Android application that facilitates the transition between the two operating systems.

However, the last quarter, which ended Sept. 26, Apple has seen a record number of people who moved from Android to iOS, also called "switcher".

During the announcement of its results for the quarter, CEO Tim Cook said in effect that 30% of iPhone sold were purchased by Android users. And since Apple account switcher, it would never have seen so much. "This is a significant number and we are proud of," said Tim Cook.
