HTC has unveiled its new high-end smartphone: the One A9. It has many reacted to the canvas, especially because of his resemblance to the iPhone 6s.
HTC has officially unveiled the One A9, its new high-end smartphone running with Android, Marshmallow 6.0. The unit offers a sophisticated, very interesting design features, but perhaps too similar to the iPhone 6s.
HTC unveils One A9
The smartphone HTC One A9 is thin (7.26 mm) and rather elegant, it has a metal case with rounded edges and measures 5 inches. It includes, among others, a fingerprint reader and an optical stabilization for the picture. For high-end smartphone, HTC has cared details, it has a Gorilla Glass screen 4 which offers great protection to everyday falls, the objective of the camera on the back is protected by sapphire glass scratchproof and hull offers different textures (brushed back, polished on the edge, grooved button).
The A9 One runs with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has Sense overlay, it is also equipped with a Full HD panel with a resolution of 440 dots and features a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 617. The latest HTC integrates 16GB of internal memory, 2GB of RAM and an integrated memory card reader can accommodate a MicroSD up to 200 GB. This premium smartphone also has a fingerprint reader that can record up to five fingers and used to unlock the smartphone.
Photo hand, the One A9 is equipped with a main sensor 13 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and equipped with optical stabilization. The unit also benefits from the design ultra fast focus, a pro mode also offers to take photos in RAW format. On the video side, new features have appeared as idle mode and HyperLapse to speed videos.
The One A9, a clone of the iPhone 6s?
After seeing the photos of One A9 with its metal shell and two horizontal stripes on the back, many users had fun comparing it to the iPhone 6s. Regarding this troubling resemblance to the iPhone 6s, HTC has been very clear, its new smartphone is inspired by the One S and One (M7), "Well earlier models to the iPhone 6".
There is anyway unlikely that Apple HTC dragged to court for this resemblance with the iPhone 6s, firstly because the Apple brand is already very busy with Samsung and secondly because HTC accounts for only 2% market share worldwide, it is far from being a direct competitor of Apple.
The One A9 will be available at a price of 599 euros.
