iPad Pro and Apple Pencil get final approval from FCC

With about two weeks left until the official launch of the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil, the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved both devices, GforGames reported today.


Both the Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular models of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro have received final approval yesterday, October 15, documents published by the FCC reveal.

The report also notes that the model number of the iPad Pro was “A1652”, and both the Wi-Fi and LTE models were approved.

iPad Pro will start at $799 with 32GB of storage and Wi-Fi connectivity while the 128GB model is priced at $949. Consumers can also get the 128GB model with cellular connectivity for $1,079. The Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil are sold separately at $169 and $99 respectively.
