Leaked specs of the Giant Tablets: Samsung Galaxy View

Samsung does not want to let take away from them the iPad Pro and plans with the Galaxy View own Giant Tablet. Now first specs of the device have surfaced on the Internet.

At the end of the IFA press conference by Samsung, on inter alia, the Gear S2 was introduced, the Group teaserte also a new tablet that is intended to move in a "completely new category". Now the pro-leaker Evan Blass discovered at GFXBench first specs of the device. The tablet, which currently goes by the name Samsung Galaxy View in the media, seem to get a screen with a diagonal of 18.5 inches rich.

Samsung Galaxy View: Giant tablet with middle-class data?
Compared to the iPad Pro, which already not a small failure with 12.5 inches, Samsung wants so obviously once neat one better. Whether the Galaxy View would still fall into the tablet segment, or not much more, a large screen as the Microsoft Surface Hub would remain open. Surprisingly, despite the size of the giant tablet is apparently not a high-end device be - at least if the specs are real. A resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, an octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory to speak in any case more suitable for a mid-range device. At least the battery is dimensioned quite ample with 5,700 mAh - which is likely to be an urgent need for a tablet of this size as well.

The Specs Leak indicates also that the Samsung Galaxy View will get apparently no rear-view camera - probably because taking pictures with a tablet of this size is likely to simply be impractical. Information about the release date or the price of the device, there is not yet. However, Samsung promised to reveal more in October.
