Tweetbot 4 for iPhone and iPad released with landscape support, quick reply for notifications and more

At long last, Tapbots’ widely expected update to Tweetbot, its popular mobile Twitter client, has gracefully landed on the App Store. Twitter 3 for iPhone, which was last updated in July 2015, and Twitter for iPad, an outdated app that saw its last refresh back in June 2014, are no longer available for download in the App Store. Replacing them is Tweetbot 4, a universal app supporting any iPhone, iPod touch and iPad with iOS 9.0 or later.

With version 4.0, there’s a lot of new features to take in. The first of which is iPad support that’s now universal, which should be a welcomed addition for Tweetbot users on both iPhone and iPad. Another notable new features is landscape support for both iPad and iPhone, along with a new Statistics and Activity View. For iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s Plus owners, Tweetbot 4 now has a Column View while in landscape mode, which is also available for iPad users as well.
