Digital scrapbooking is an important multimodal literacy where learners get to practice their creative thinking, experimenting with a variety of shapes and layouts to produce expressive artworks to share with others. There is now a number of interesting apps designed specifically for scrapbooking and unlike traditional softwares (e.g Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Digital Image Pro) that pose a real challenging learning curve for beginners, these apps are easy and simple to use and do not require any advanced photo editing skills. The list below comprises some of what we think are the best scrapbooking apps to use with your students. Check them out and share with us if you have other suggestions to add to the list.

‘PicCollage is THE coolest collage-maker in town! Join over 100 million people who use PicCollage to combine photos, Youtube videos, funky fonts, sassy stickers and cute cutouts to create the prettiest collages you'll ever see on a mobile device. When you're done, you can print your collages as high-quality phone cases, posters, magnets and photo print-outs as gifts for yourself or your loved ones!’
