Apple Launches Personal Pickup Service in Canada and Australia

Apple today expanded its in-store pickup option to Australia and Canada which makes them the first country outside the U.S. to get the service. Apple had first introduced its ‘Personal Pickup’ service in 2011.

The service lets customers easily purchase items online then pop into a retail store to pick up the item.

If this is your first time selecting an Apple Store, our product pages will display Available for pickup: Check availability. Click this link, enter the postal code where you'd like to pick up the item, and click Search Stores to check availability.

If you’ve previously selected an Apple Store, our product pages will display your chosen location. You can click See more stores to check pickup availability at a different Apple Store.

Once you're ready to purchase, select Pick up at Checkout. If you would like to change the pickup location, select Change location. Then Continue. Items marked Available Today will usually be ready for pickup within an hour. You'll receive a notification email when your item is available to pick up. Please wait for this email before coming to the store.

It was only earlier this week that Apple expanded Apple Pay to Canada in association with American Express, with support for Australia also slated to arrive later this week.
