Tesla Leads Edition
For the first time this year, YoY sales were down in Finland, with October showing a 13% decrease, but with YTD sales at 571 units, sales are already 30% above last year result (440 sales), with the EV Share at 0,63%, a significant departure from the 0,42% of last year, if somewhat still lagging behind their scandinavian neighbors, all above 1% share.
Looking at the models ranking, if the podium remains the same, with the Tesla Model S leader, followed by the Mitsu Outlander PHEV and the Porsche Cayenne in #3, the rest of the ranking has seen two significant changes:
- The VW Golf GTE climbed one position to #4, displacing the Nissan Leaf;
- Instant success for the Mercedes C350e, already in #7.
Looking at the manufacturers ranking, Tesla leads with 23% share, looking to win its first title in Finland, while the current crown bearer, Mitsubishi, is Second with 16% and leading a group of four brands running close to each other: Volkswagen is #3 also with 16% share, Porsche is #4, with 14% and Nissan is #5 with 12%,
Looking at the BEV / PHEV breakdown, this traditionally PHEV-friendly market has seen plug-in hybrids increase share regarding last year, it is now at 61% / 39% vs the 57 / 43 of last year.
