OnePlus has just launched the OnePlus Icons headset right after the unveiling of the OnePlus X. These premium headphones will set you back by $49 or about Rs 3,200, so it's not going easier on the customers' wallets.
But the pricing is justified considering what the headphones bring to the table. The company will sell it in gold and graphite color variants at launch.
As far as headset controls are concerned, it comes with the standard set of functionality such as pause/play, volume up/down etc. Since this is a common feature on most headsets, it will work on almost any Android device out there.
The OnePlus Icons come with 11mm drivers, which according to the company offers superior bass performance without compromising much on the overall audio quality. The company hasn't announced Indian availability of the headphones, but it is expected to be available for purchase very soon given that the OnePlus X will also be sold in India.
The OnePlus X will be available in Onyx and Ceramic variants priced at Rs 16,999 and Rs 22,999 respectively. The company has promised to make the smartphone available without invites, which is a big step from the company.
