Well after long time there is something good news for Windows phone fans. Microsoft has finally revealed the schedule for Windows phone to receive the Windows 10 update.
Microsoft has taken quite long process to release the update for mobile device. After the long testing of more number of build version Microsoft is all set to release the update.
As Windows 10 mobile update is quite big update and it will require 5 GB of space in your devices. This update will bring many feature in windows devices which were missing in windows 8.1. And brings totally new interface which is more attractive than 8.1.
Microsoft has already stated that devices with 4GB internal storage won't get this update as its quite big update. And almost all windows 8.1 will get this update but it will take time.
According to Microsoft, they will release it in two phase.
The phase one will start rolling out from 14th Dec 2015. This phase will apparently include the following devices:
Lumia 630, Lumia 635, Lumia 640, Lumia 735 and Lumia 830.
While the second phase will take time to release as it will gonna come for devices with 512 MB of RAM. So it is expected to release in 1st Feb 2016. The list if devices as per Microsoft are:
Lumia 520, Lumia 532, Lumia 625, Lumia 720, Lumia 820, Lumia 930, Lumia 925, Lumia 1020, Lumia 1320
So this a first list of devices, the devices which are not listed here it doesn't mean that they won't get update. It's just a schedule and which will be further updated.
