Xiaomi, a privately owned Chinese company is set to launch another high specs android smartphone, the successor to the Redmi Note 2, the device is codenamed “Redmi Note 3” and it will spot a 5.5 HD display just like the Redmi Note 2.
This time around, Xiaomi went for a body upgrade bringing the Redmi Note 3 with full aluminum metal body with curved edges and 20-point ultra-fine double sided sandblasting, a finger print sensor that can unlock the smartphone in 0.3 seconds (which is not present in Redmi Note 2) and a massive 4000mAh battery.
Facing the Redmi Note 3 is a 5.5 inches 1080p display with a 5MP front facing camera and the back comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, featuring auto focus and phase detection.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 might run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM or 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, all depends on the model being outed. Connectivity options include, 4G LTE Capabilities, dual-SIM functionality, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and it will come with MIUI 7.
The smartphone comes in three color options which include, silver, gray and gold and pricing is tagged at $140 for the 16GB model and $172 for the 32GB model.
