Android 6.0.1 for Samsung Galaxy S6 is already being tested

The latest Android 6.0.1 is apparently already being tested for the Samsung Galaxy S6. An update of Galaxy S6, S6 Edge Galaxy and Galaxy S6 Edge + to version 6.0 is expected according to current information in January 2016th

That Samsung is working on a marshmallow updates to its main smartphone flagships, is already known. Now a new Bench market entry in the database of Geekbench points out, however, that already is being tested Android 6.0.1 for the popular Galaxy S6. This suggests that Samsung plans to launch the latest version of Android soon to its current top model.

Samsung Jumps directly to Android 6.0.1?
If the Galaxy S6 might even get directly Android 6.0.1 and Android 6.0 does not, then the owner should be happy addition to the usual changes via the recently published Emoji Packet of Google. Only the beginning of December had published with the 6.0.1 update over 200 new icons for the Emoji keyboard from Android developers. These are so far however only ready for the Nexus devices from Google.
