Android: Nexus devices get next week new Emojis

Android is catching up in Emoji competition against iOS. Next week the first Nexus device to be supplied with new emoji. Smartphones from Samsung, Sony and other manufacturers could follow soon.

Emojis are wildly popular. Meanwhile, the little faces and symbols adorn almost every chat message with WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, and are therefore out of our daily communication hardly imagine. Even new software updates turn now to a large extent a question of how many new Emojis there. The proof now delivers Android 6.0 marshmallow that will get a whole new set of emoji in the coming week.

Nexus and Nexus 5X 6P are the first
Was announced the update of Android boss Hiroshi Lockheimer via Twitter. In a posting he announced that starting next week the first Google Nexus series as the Nexus or Nexus 5X should 6P get an update. In addition, Google would like to share the update with other manufacturers such as Samsung, Sony and LG, so they can update their own smart phones also.

iOS 9.1 has presented new Emojis
Recently Apple had with its iOS 9.1 update increases the number of Emojis for iPhone owners by as much as 150 new symbols. Most Emojis on smartphones and computers are generated from the Unicode, a digital code for digital standardization of character, which is embedded in the operating system itself. However, individual programs or apps can also bring their own emoji. This applies to WhatsApp for example. This program-specific Emojis however can then be used within the app and do not work throughout the system.
