Apple agrees to pay $ 350 million in the case to avoid paying Italian taxes

According to a new report released today by the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, it appears that Apple recently agreed to pay the amount of US $ 350 million to settle the issue of tax evasion in Italy.

Apple has been accused of tax evasion in Italy between 2008 and 2013. It is alleged that Apple deliberately non-payment of 880 million euros in taxes during these five years, and convert this amount to her company in Ireland.

Although the investigation was completed in March of this year, the settlement process took a long time because of the presence of lengthy negotiations between Apple and the Italian authorities. For his part, the tax office in the country, confirmed that it has been to reach a satisfactory agreement for both parties, but did not disclose financial details of the settlement.

While Apple has not yet close to a settlement, has said earlier that the company is one of the largest taxpayers in the world and paid every euro of taxes imposed on it wherever the business work.
