According to a new report released today by the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, it appears that Apple recently agreed to pay the amount of US $ 350 million to settle the issue of tax evasion in Italy.
Apple has been accused of tax evasion in Italy between 2008 and 2013. It is alleged that Apple deliberately non-payment of 880 million euros in taxes during these five years, and convert this amount to her company in Ireland.
Although the investigation was completed in March of this year, the settlement process took a long time because of the presence of lengthy negotiations between Apple and the Italian authorities.
