Apple and Ericsson conflict
Signed both Apple and giant techniques Ericsson patent license agreement includes the Apple to pay a portion of iPhone
returns to the Swedish company, and Ericsson announces funds that are expected to derive from this agreement, which will run for seven years but ABG Sundal Collier Bank noted that the Apple will pay 0.5% of iPhone and iPad revenue.
Due to the conflict between Apple and Ericsson about the patent since 2012, where Ericsson has a patented core private technology LTE as well as old technologies such as GSM and UMTS, Samsung has agreed to pay ongoing fees to patents themselves as part of the deal between the two companies in 2014.
Apple has resorted to the court in the month of January, claiming that the patents Ericsson fees are too high, but the latter filed a lawsuit in the next day and tried to push to the International Trade Commission in the United States to stop Yvonne sales in the state.
Now the conflict has been resolved and finally the two companies agreed to work together on the new generation of cellular networks 5G development, and this is a smart move by Apple only if they intend to pay this percentage of revenue forever.
