Few days back, TENAA certified the Galaxy A7 (2016) gen with model number SM-A7100, and some upgraded specs was spotted on the device compared to its previous gen. Now, the Galaxy A5 (2016) gen is certified by TENNA with model number SM-A5100.
According to TENNA listing, there is an upgrade in this next gen of Galaxy A5. However, the smartphone features a 5.2inches OLED display (0.2 inch upgrade) with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution, 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter.
The previous gen of Galaxy A5 (2015) runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat, but the next gen Galaxy A5 (2016) runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, and powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core CPU which is coupled with a 2GB RAM component and a 16GB internal storage.
In addition, upgrade was also made on battery, the previous gen packs a 2300 mAh battery, but the next gen packs a 2900 mAh batter, and that’s quite a huge difference in battery capacity. The smartphone featuring every coupled components makes it weigh 145g and a 144.7 × 70.8 × 6.9 mm measurement.
