Sony is reportedly planning two versions of the Xperia Z6

2016 could bring two versions of the Xperia Z6 to market Sony. The normal version of the flagship will come on the market in the summer, according to current rumors, while a branch is reportedly planned for the autumn.

Flagships, wherever you look: This year, Sony had four top smartphones offer. In addition to the Xperia Z3 +, which was published in the summer, the Japanese have brought the Xperia Z5 in three variants on the market. A Xperia Z6 in the summer, a second in the fall

The standard version of the smartphone could therefore celebrate its release in the summer of 2016, while another version in the fall, could possibly come to the IFA 2016 on the market. Whether this will be be an Xperia Z6 premium or a compact version, however, is not known.

Sets Sony on metal?
Exact details on other specifications as well as the housing materials are not yet known. Current speculation, however, assume that the metal Xperia Z6 could play a greater role than in the previous models of the Xperia Z-series. Whether Sony relies on a unibody aluminum or a combination of metal and glass, however, is not yet known. A few weeks ago has also been speculated that Sony could use a display with 3D Touch.

Rumors which at such an early stage are, of course, be treated with caution. After all, Sony has launched its latest Xperia Z5 devices on the market a few weeks ago. Secured information for Xperia Z6 and its possible offshoots it is therefore expected to be in a few months.
