This month's New EdTech Tools for Teachers features 6 good websites for you to try out.  Some of the things you can do with these web tools include: creating different types of diagrams (e.g flowcharts and organizational charts), solve math problems using Symbolab calculator, design print-friendly Bingo cards to use in class, build and share word searches online, convert/compress and share video files. Enjoy

1- ProcessOn


ProcessOn is a web tool that allows you that you can use to create diagrams including: flowcharts, organizational charts, EVC, EPC..etc. ProcessOn supports real-time collaboration so you can work simultaneously with your collaborators on the same diagram. When your diagrams are ready you can share them in PDF or image form.

2- Symbolab


Symbolab is a math solver with step by step solutions, also featuring a graphing calculator and practice.  The web site: https://www.symbolab.com/solver  is free of charge and the mobile apps are free (solution only) with in-app for step by step access, here's the link to the Android App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devsense.symbolab

4- Bingo Baker


‘Bingo Baker makes it easy to create bingo cards. You can generate hundreds of random cards and print them using the printer-friendly PDF (with no ads or watermarks). You can also save paper (and waste electricity instead) by playing your bingo game online (it works on the iPad).’

5- Word Search Labs


Word Search Labs is another good tool from the maker of Bingo Baker. You can use it to build, print, share and solve word searches online.Here is how to use it: “Enter your word search settings on this page and click "Preview”; Verify that your word search looks good, and save it (if you need to make changes, click the "Edit" button). Enjoy your word search. You can print it out, solve it online and share it with your friends (they can solve it online too).’

6- ClipChamp

‘Clipchamp lets you convert, compress and record video files. You can save processed videos or upload them straight to YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook or Google Drive…Clipchamp runs in your browser but your videos get processed locally on your computer.This means you don't need to install any software or slowly upload files to an online converter. Your videos stay on your computer until you decide to share them.’
