At CES 2016, LG introduced the K series lineup with the launch of K7 and K10 smartphones with "advanced camera technology". Now LG has added a new member to the 'K' series family- the K4. The 4G LTE model of K4 is listed on LG Russia website.
Just like the LG K7 and K10, the LG K4 come with features like Gesture Shot (take photos by raising an open hand in front of lens and then clenching it into a fist) and Gesture Interval Shot (Closing the hand twice snaps four quick shots).
The LG K4 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) IPS display and is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6735M 64-bit processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. For imaging, there is 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera with virtual flash (display will light up to act as flash), a feature seen on iPhone 6s. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+ WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity. It is fueled by 1940mAh battery. The device is 8.9mm thick and weighs 120g.
Considering the specifications, the LG K4 sits in the entry level segment. There is no word on pricing and availability details.
