Huawei Honor Holly 2 Plus with 4000mAh battery launched in India for Rs. 8,499


Huawei sub-brand Honor at an event in New Delhi, also launched the Honor Holly Plus alongside Honor 5X in India. It is the follow up to the budget Honor Holly and is basically a re-branded Enjoy5 for the Indian market.

The Huawei Honor Holly 2 Plus features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be further increased up to 128GB via microSD card. 

For photography, it sports 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, OmniVision BSI sensor, 28mm wide-angle lens and 6P lenses. Selfie lovers will get a 5-megapixel front snapper.

The dual-SIM (CDMA / 4G) phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.1 on top and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. 

It is fueled by 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging and the device also, doubles up as a power bank, thanks to reverse charging technology, to charge other USB-powered devices via USB OTG

The Huawei Honor Holly 2 Plus is priced at Rs. 8,499 and will be available from Amazon India and Flipkart starting February 14. It comes in Grey, Gold and White colors. The Honor Holly 2 also comes with 15 months warranty in India, and 1 month free screen replacement. The company noted the warranty will remain valid even if the device is rooted.
