You know the deep black and red colours you see on most modern smartphones and tablets, making images clearer on them? Well that is the power of OLED display technology. Amazingly, OLED display is something that has been missing on laptops, yes even the expensive ones. The great gist is that at CES 2016, Lenovo announced that the sweet OLED display is finally coming to laptops as the company unveiled the Lenovo ThinkPad x1 Yoga.
Though the latest ThinkPad X1 Yoga is not a good pick if you intend to buy a rugged business laptop, it's a classy 2-in-1 hybrid that gives you a tablet/laptop experience. Little wonder it made our list of CES 2016 awards here at GurusWizard as the best 2-in-1 notebook.

THE DESIGN
Classy is much more a perfect word to describe the Lenovo ThinkPad x1 Yoga. When put alone, the ThinkPad X1 Tablet weighs just 2.4 poundswith with Lenovo’s classic ThinkPad keyboard and TrackPoint, complete with three colors and adjustable angles. The tablet itself weighs a manageable 1.8 pounds, which is slightly heavier than the Surface Pro 4’s 1.73 pounds, but it’s just as thin as Microsoft’s slate at 0.33 inches.
The Lenovo ThinkPad x1 Yoga is quite thin at 0.66 yet it managed to squeezes in three USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet, a mini DisplayPort and HDMI. However, the chassis houses a microSD card slot instead of a full-size SD card slot.
