RIHANNA is set to dazzle the star-studded crowd at The BRIT Awards 2016, it has been confirmed today.
The hitmaker last took to the stage at the annual ceremony back in 2012, and this year's extravaganza will be her fourth performance overall.
Organisers first announced her appearance on Twitter, revealing: "Surprise. Rihanna is performing at #BRITs 2016! We. Cannot. Deal."
The news comes just days after Rihanna, who has previously won two BRITs for international female solo artist, released her eighth studio album, Anti.
The singer's latest offering has already gone platinum in the UK, as well as hitting the number one spot on iTunes in 30 countries.

Rihanna joins a very impressive line-up including Adele, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Little Mix, James Bay, The Weeknd and Jess Glynne.
The star's first outing at the BRITs came in 2008, when she performed her huge single Umbrella alongside The Klaxons.
Three years later, viewers were treated to a medley of Only Girl In The World, S&M and What's My Name.
