Tell us a bit about the campaign?

I'm helping promote the amazing Give up Clothes for Good campaign which is a partnership with TK Maxx to help Cancer Research UK Kids and Teens. It's raising money to find more successful children's cancer treatments so that more of those kids can make a full recovery so we can beat kid's cancer sooner.

The most precious fashion items in your wardrobe?

My vintage 1930s dresses which seem harder to find as time goes on and less people are willing to part with them. I'm a big fan of my Gianvito Rossi pointy heeled courts that I'm obsessed with! I'm a big fan of the leather jacket; I've got a really beautiful one that I found in the sale years ago that I find it very difficult not to wear every single day. I've also got this pair of black suit trousers which look chic but they feel like they're almost a legging or a tracksuit bottom.

The red carpet look you'd ditch?

The great thing about the Give up Clothes for Good campaign is that I actually wanted to give up something that I still really love. I gave away that a dress that I'm so in love with but I gave that up for good because as much as I love it, the proceeds of it go to towards helping some children that really need it.

What do you do for confidence?

I find that the more I take care of myself the more confident I feel. If I haven't had any water in the day I feel very conscious that my mouth is dry or my hands feel dry or the skin on my face. Just the daily looking after myself. I also always find that I feel more confident if I have a little workout.  Just having that time to yourself and the good serotonin from exercise makes me feel brighter, even if it's not a full hour and is just 20 minutes. I'm also a big fan of a walk in the park. I also feel confident when I wear something that makes me feel good. Whether that be luxurious underwear or a great pair of cashmere tracksuit bottoms or a lovely silk shirt that feels good against your skin. Whenever I wear things that feel too tight or dig in that's always a clear understanding that I'm not going to feel good that day. I think anyone with great style looks like they have confidence - no matter how out there.

Is there anything about the fashion industry you'd like to change?

It would be lovely for there to be more of a variation of sizes, shapes and ethnicities. What I'd really love is to just get rid of the phrase "plus-size". I'm so grateful that I model at a time where "plus-size" models are being championed, but they're still called "plus-size" which is actually quite a stigma in itself. It's just healthy, curvy women.

Any exciting projects coming up?

My Pamela Love campaign is coming up soon. She's a jewellery designer; I've been obsessed with her for years. I started following her on Instagram then she started liking all my pictures, then we started direct messaging and it took us two years to finally meet. When we did she asked me to do her core collection campaign.

Would you ever do any high street collaborations?

I would absolutely love to. I did a collaboration years ago just in France because I wanted to see if I could design and if people would buy without having my name attached to it. I had so much fun. I'd love to do it again - I just have to wait for the right for the right project.

Your dream actor/actress to work with?

Christopher Walker - I love him. I'm very much in love with Patricia Arquette, too. I fell in love with her when I first saw True Romance.

Dream acting role?

I'd love to play a sort of fragile, sensitive, yet incredibly strong and powerful woman one day.

Your favourite season to dress for and why?

I love winter clothes! I love getting all the layers on, the tights and jumpers. I'm also a big fan of all those muted winter colours like burgundy, forrest green and aubergines. I also don't look very good when I have a tan! I'm better at my pale look so I enjoy winter.
