Gionee S6 with 6.9mm slim metal body, USB Type-C launched in India at Rs. 19,999

Gionee has launched the metal-clad S6 smartphone in India for. The Gionee S6 is listed on company website as coming soon, but is available on Flipkart and IndiaTimes for Rs 19,999 and Rs 19,500 respectively. The phone was first announced in China in November last year.

The Gionee S6 sports a slim metal body that measures 6.9mm at its thickest point and 4mm at its slimmest point. It comes with 5.5-inch HD AMOLED display, 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC with Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, hybrid dual SIM slot, 4G LTE, USB Type-C, WiFi and Bluetooth. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with AMIGO OS 3.1 on top and is fueled by 3150mAh battery.
