In this post we will be telling you about how to root xiaomi redmi 2 (without PC). So lets proceed.....

1. For this first you need to download the zip file provided below on to your device.

Zip FILE TO BE DOWNLOADED

2. Now you need to place the above downloaded file on to your sd card.

3. Now navigate to the updater app.

4. Click on 3 dots at right on top of the screen.

5. Now a menu will pop down.

6. SELECT CHOOSE UPDATE PACKAGE from the menu that appeared.

7. Navigate to the Zip File you just downloaded

8. Now click onn the zip.

9. Now your device will boot into Mi Recovery.

10. Now you will find a new app installed named SUPER SU

11. Click on the app.

12. Now it will prompt you to install SU BINARY.

13. Follow the procedure.

14. Now it will ask you to REBOOT

15. REBOOT your device

CONGRATULATIONS! Your device has been rooted.
